Fox Cubs & Eagle Explorers at Forest Schools

Collage 2017-09-18 10_09_23This morning a group of Fox Cubs and Eagle Explorers went for their first trip to the Forest Schools Site. When we arrived we set out our boundaries and chatted about why we shouldn’t go past them. The children straight away went and hid in the bushes, they ran around them repeatedly chasing each other shouting ‘I’m going to get you’. We then collected sticks and pretended to chop down the tree, made marks in the mud with them and tried to reach the top of the branches with the bigger sticks.

We then made a rope swing and the children were very excited to test it out, holding onto the ropes and swinging back and forth.
